Who we are

Quitt is an Android app made by SoulSparkle Studio ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to the information you put into the app and on this website.

What the app stores

To do its job, Quitt saves the things you enter:

• the habits you track, when you started, and your daily limits
• cravings you log, slips, their triggers and any notes you add
• your reasons for quitting, and settings such as cost per day

All of this is stored only on your device, in the app's private storage. The app has no account system and doesn't send your data to us or to anyone else. We have no server that receives it.

What we don't do

• No sign-up, email address or phone number is needed.
• No analytics, advertising or tracking tools are built into the app.
• We don't sell, share or rent any information.

One technical note: the app's typeface (Manrope) is fetched through Google Play services' font provider on your phone. That request contains none of your Quitt data.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, Quitt uses them to tell you when you reach a milestone. They are scheduled on your phone and the content never leaves it. You can turn them off at any time in Android settings.

Backups

Android may include Quitt's data in your device backup (for example, Google's backup service) if you have backups turned on. That backup is handled by Google under your Google account and its privacy terms, not by us. You can turn device backup off in Android settings.

Deleting your data

You can delete a habit and its history inside the app at any time. Uninstalling Quitt, or clearing its storage in Android settings, removes everything from your phone.

This website

This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or third-party fonts and scripts. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may process standard technical information such as your IP address to serve the page and protect it from abuse.

Children

Quitt isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top. If a change affects how your data is handled, we'll also mention it in the app's release notes.
